Diagnostic Services
SMOC can provide convenient access to a variety of Diagnostic Services that will assist them in providing you with a more definitive diagnosis. The following services are currently available: MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Radiology (X-rays), Fluoroscopy (Arthrographs), Bone Densitometry (Osteoporosis Screening), EMG (Electromyography), Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies (NCS), and BioniCare Knee Pain System.

Medical Specialty Referrals
Our SMOC Physicians can quickly refer you if needed to other Medical Specialties available within our organization. Our Medical Specialists are trained in Trauma, Non-Surgical Orthopaedics, Physical & Occupational Medicine, Spine Surgery, Rheumatology, Primary Care, and Sports Medicine. If medically indicated, they offer a variety of Therapeutic Procedures such as Epidural Injections, Facet Injections and other orthopaedic interventions.

Industrial Rehabilitation
SMOC provides comprehensive rehabilitation for injured workers. Our Industrial Rehab Program strives to meet the needs of the patient, physician, case manager, nurse, vocational counselor and the employer. We offer an array of services including Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), Work Conditioning Programs, Ergonomic Screenings, as well as Back, Injury Prevention and Safety Education Classes. In addition, our highly trained staff can accomplish on-site Workplace services including Job Analysis, Work Station Assessments, and Work Risk Factor / Hazard Analysis. Your Physician may recommend industrial rehabilitation if indicated and our staff will gladly assist you in making an appointment at our state-of-the-art Industrial Rehabilitation Center.

Sports Physical Examinations
If your child plans to participate in sports this year, we encourage you to schedule a sports physical examination appointment with our primary care sports medicine physician. Be sure to pick up your schools Physical Examination Form and complete the patient “student athlete information section” on the first page before you come in. We appreciate each and every opportunity to serve you.
